Acctim Silver Sweeper EL Alarm Clock from Argos
We bought this but took it straight back. It's plug-ugly and although pretty quiet, it's not silent.
Good points:
  • Quiet, but ...
Bad points:
  • ... not silent
  • Uglier in the flesh than when pictured
  • Electro-luminescent light makes whistling noise
