Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor from Argos
The software was faulty on ours, such that it locked up. Because it's all electronically controlled, that meant we had to remove the battery to reset it, whereupon it loses all the stored readings. As a software engineer I can recognise what appeared to be a design flaw rather than a one-off fault, so back it went.
Good points:
  • Cheap and fairly cheerful, if you don't care about losing stored readings
Bad points:
  • A bit bulky (don't be fooled by the picture)
  • Memories useless if the device crashes, and it does
