Commtel 3 SCART TO 1 SCART from Argos
Pretty bad, all in all. The connections are not gold plated, the cable is very short, and on ours the switching did not properly isolate between the different inputs. Shame, because it's quite nice looking and the switches are proper clunky radio buttons, but it had to go back straight away. Alas trying to find a SCART switch that works well is proving to be a very time-consuming endeavour. The manufacturer of this one seems to have an almost complete stranglehold on the budget market, with these and others of theirs popping up under all kinds of names. Surely it's not rocket science to make a no-frills, affordable switch that works?
Good points:
  • Understated looks, not "digibox silver"
  • Radio buttons for easy source selection
  • Cheap...
Bad points:
  • ...but pretty nasty
  • Very short cable (only a foot or so)
  • Input channels not properly isolated
