If you've got a Wii, you know what this is, and you also know that only one came with the console, even if you bought an extra remote. If you haven't got a Wii, the nunchuk is a gizmo that plugs into the main remote to allow the innovative motion sensing to detect the movements of both hands, and has an analogue joystick and a couple of buttons that some games use. Whether you need one is down to the games you prefer playing. Out of the box, only two player boxing in Wii Sports requires a second nunchuk, but quite a lot of action games become a lot more fun with two players - either competitively or cooperatively, depending on the game!
