Quite nicely made, with comfortable fabric ear-cups. The microphone's position is adjustable but not in the most positive way. Installation under Windows XP was smooth, not requiring any user intervention let alone drivers, plug and play as it should be. Despite being Skype branded and no mention being made of other use, this installs as a standard Windows sound card, so is usable by all applications. Sound quality for both recording and playback is perfectly adequate for anticipated usage, and the noise cancellation combined with a long-ish (but not 3 metres as claimed) cable means at last audio can be recorded properly on a laptop.
Good points:
  • Nice build quality
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Microphone flips out of the way when not required
  • Sound quality up to standard
  • Simple installation as a standard USB sound card
Bad points:
  • Microphone position adjustment not as positive as it could be
  • Cable not as long as advertised
  • Excessively packaged
